ICVERIFY® Processor Setup

Once the installation process is complete, the ICVERIFY software must be configured to process transactions through your selected transaction processing network. A processing network handles transaction processing for your merchant bank. In some cases, a bank will also function as a processing network, but this is not generally the case. Processing networks can process any combination of credit card, debit card and check guarantee transactions. When a merchant enters the data for a transaction, the ICVERIFY software uses the computer's modem to contact the processing network and submit it for approval. The network processes the transaction and then returns a response to the ICVERIFY software. Once the transactions are approved, they must also be settled in order to have the funds transferred to the merchant's account. To settle the approved transactions, the ICVERIFY application must once again connect to the processing network and submit a settlement request. The ICVERIFY setup program configures the software to communicate correctly with the processing network of your choice.

What Do I need to Setup the ICVERIFY Application?
